2007 DAY AT THE BEACH TRIATHLON

Event Information

The 2008 Arrowhead Day at the Beach Triathlon presented by Toyota registration is open!

The Arrowhead Day at the Beach Triathlon at Hermosa Beach features a fun and safe, beginner-oriented course. The event starts with a cool, refreshing ocean swim (wetsuits are recommended). This is followed by a 10-mile bike course that takes racers down Hermosa Ave towards Redondo Beach and curves back to Hermosa. There will be lots of volunteers and it is always very well marked. The run is out-and-back courses with scenic ocean views, on paved roads. If you are a beginner this race is an excellent way to start in the sport of triathlon!

Swim Clinic
We are proud to present a beginner-oriented swim clinic designed to welcome you to the sport! The swim clinic is an hour-long session held the October 5, 2008 at 9:00am. The program will present the entry level triathlete with all the information needed to compete in your first triathlon. There will be a $10 USA Triathlon One Day permit fee for insurance on this clinic. All participants will be required to pay this fee and sign a waiver upon arrival at the clinic. USAT annual license holders will not need to pay the fee if they present their current USAT card.

To participate in this clinic, simply meet at the first lifeguard tower on the north side of the pier at 9:00am. Lifeguards will meet you there.
